A campaign to sensitize people for cashless transactions 20thJan, 2017

A campaign to sensitize people of Landran Village for cashless transactions was carried out by ‘NSS volunteers’ of Chandigarh College of Education on 20thJan, 2017. This sensitization aimed at apprising the villagers of adopting digital system of transactions in their day to day lives. The volunteers cum students carried out this awareness drive in the alleys of Landran village. By visiting the majority of households and shopkeepers, the message of “From Cash To Less Cash Society’’ was spreaded. This was an endeavour of the NSS volunteers in the direction of bringing transformation in ‘Indian Economy’ and thus make transactions around the country more digitalized. This activity was conducted as per guidelines of MHRD, for the campaign of digital economy and corruption-free India. The rally was lead by NSS Coordinators Ms. Poonam Bhambra and Ms. Enu Sambyal under the guidance of Dr. Neena Sawhney , Principal , CCE.
