Dr. Sneh Bansal moderated the panel discussion on Inclusion in Indian Education: Trends and Challenges in the 5th National Conference of Principals on the theme "Creating School of Excellence" at Hotel Taj, Chandigarh on 1st & 2nd September, 2018 conducted by the Centre for Education Development (CED), India’s first Educational platform with a vision to empower teachers to broaden the horizon of today’s learner and a unit for training and development which empower educators to face the challenges. Dr. Priyadarshi Nayak, Chairman and CEO of CED foundation welcomed the guests. Eminent educationists from all over India were presented at this huge event .Special address on the theme was delivered by Dr. Shruti Nadda Podar, Chairperson, business and industry department, Rajasthan and Global Educationist and key address by Mr. Satya Pal Jain, additional solicitor general, India and Ex- M. P., Chandigarh. Shri Kulbhushan Sharma, President, NISA were the guest of honor. More than 100 principals from India’s leading public schools had converged here to participate in the two-day event along with eminent educationists and other prominent personalities. Renowned school students of the city presented a cultural programme for the guests and showcased their talent. Monthly Educators magazine published by CED every month was released which comprised of articles and interviews of renowned principals from all over the India. Many notable academic personalities and leading educationist from Chandigarh, New Delhi, Nagaland, Punjab, Jammu, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh presented their views through Panel and table discussions on the various subthemes including Equity, Quality and Equality in School Education, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of School Plans, Rejuvenation of Teacher Education, Inclusive Education and The POCSO Act. Keynote address was delievered by Honorable prof. B. S. Ghuman, VC, Punjabi University, Patiala. The chief guest was Honourable Mr. Pawan Bansal, Ex. M. P. Chandigarh. The Eminent educationists and Principals were appreciated and awarded for their contribution in the field of education.
